Made a new wallpaper
Oct. 1st, 2007 01:13 amI made the wallpaper in the screenshot in this post. I was inspired by another screenshot I saw on deviantart. I also found a better looking lyrics dashboard widget but the "black" style wasn't really black so I made it black. Click on the preview below to view the screenshot. I also always like to show what icon theme I'm using in my finder.
I put it as a jpg screenshot at first and then I noticed that jpg really messes up the colors of the apple logo and makes it not look nearly as smooth as its supposed to be so it's a png screenshot now... around 582k in size.

No I didn't draw the picture but I made it into a wallpaper.
*edit* Saving it as jpeg screenshot ruins the background gradient it looks a lot smoother in action as a png wallpaper.
If you want to see what I mean here is a screenshot of it in PNG format Warning: 1.1MB screenshot! I also put in a little noise into the bg on this one which also helps a little but I like both with and without noise so I have a few versions.
Also Here is another wallpaper I made.. I thought the picture was funny.
One last thing.. as long as I'm doing screenshots here is one from school.. this is how it looks like when I am in class on one of their dual screen PC's.

This site has a ton of good wallpapers. Most are high res and come from various Anime series a lot seem to be on their original backgrounds with real good colors.
A lot of my old anime wallpaper site haunts are gone now so it's good having new places to get them from. If anyone else can recommend more please do.
