Sep. 23rd, 2008 02:07 amHas anyone else experienced Live Journal displaying the wrong user picture for your default? Today I have noticed that instead of my usual dollfie my browser has been showing The Terminator as my default picture. I talked to a couple of friends about it. Of course one friend recommended I empty my browser cache. I tried this a few times and after half a dozen times it finally showed the correct default icon for me. However the next time I went to my livejournal page it showed The Terminator again.
When I first saw it I thought, "What the hey? Did someone hack into my account and change my default icon?" But I have noticed that when I refresh my browser sometimes it showed the correct icon and sometimes it showed The Terminator. Could it be an icon ID conflict with another icon in LJ? In my LJ client of choice (xJournal) it always shows the correct default icon. Right now it seems to consistently show my user icon but it seems like at any time it may show The Terminator again, strange.
