Apr. 8th, 2007 08:11 pmFor Halo 2 Vista it looks like they are making a new type of installer. What's different about this installer is that it lets you play the game while you are installing it so you don't have to wait. I almost imagine that you would need the recommended system requirements to be able to do such a thing though. But it's still pretty interesting. Some people might prefer to play it totally off the disc though and that should be an option for them... or for those people who want to play a certain game but don't want to set aside space on their hard drive for it at the moment. It also reminds me of the digital distribution system that Prey originally used called "Triton" that let you start playing the game when it hit a certain percent downloaded while you wait for the rest of it to download. It's good that they are adressing some of the things people have complained about when it comes to PC Gaming.
