HP has made a Linux based server sort of like the Windows Home Server but half the price. Hmmm....... I wouldn't get either but it's nice to see there's a choice.
Music downloading tax anyone? Warner Brothers is proposing everyone pay $5 dollars a month extra for the privilege of unlimited music downloads. On the surface that may sound pretty good. But that's just one out of many companies that comprise the record industry. What if they all wanted $5? That might add up and we all would end up paying through the nose for internet connectivity.
Dell has an $880 dollar notebook with Blu-ray on it. Damn, Apple needs to get on the ball and put Blu-ray into the entire range of Macs! They may not want to put the same kind of "Media PC Accelerator" card as in this notebook so they may also want to upgrade the graphics chips in the MacBook and Mini as well. There's one coming down the pike they can use.
