I am checking out a page that is full of cute\funny\interesting stuff. Some of my favorite things are:

Panda Skillet - I could see me cooking in this. Yes, I do cook.

Domo-kun Plush - Need I say more? I WANT!

Stiloso Rojo Headphones - I first saw these at urban outfitters and thought they where cool in a retro sort of way. They probably sound real good too. I tend to prefer this style of headphones from a sound perspective and these look pretty nice to boot. It has an inline mic and works with the iPhone so it would be ideal for that if I ever got one.

poyoccho eye pillow - I'm including this here just because it's so silly! May be nice though.

These Zipper Pulls - Are cute!

If you look around that page you may find other stuff that you may like. I didn't want to list too much here. I also liked urban outfitters as well.

What I could really use though is a set of quirky\cute drink coasters for my desk. If anyone can recommend any please leave a comment!

I haven't been updating much these past couple of days because I actually started on what will hopefully end up being a nice book\other project. I'm not revealing too many details about it yet and I don't want to get anyone's hopes up too high yet (even my own). But I feel good about this project and I'm not letting anything discourage me from going through with it. If all goes well I will be announcing it here of course. I have actually been toying around with the idea for a while but haven't had the motivation\drive\etc. to actually go through with it. I think I may have that now though so I'm going for it.

You may or may not have noticed that I haven't been updating Livejournal much lately. Well I can't stay away from it for too long.

This picture is pretty interesting to me it talks about the tallest buildings in the world. Most of the tallest ones are either under construction it seems and Taiwan currently holds the title after the WTC fell. I've seen shows about most of those skyscrapers on TV at one time or another.

I read recently that Billie Piper is returning to Doctor Who in season 4. When I read that I thought of how I said when she left that if she wanted to return they could find a way to write her back in. Nothings impossible in the Whoniverse. I didn't think they would bring back The Master for example after he got sucked into the eye of harmony. But the current writers\producers aren't letting anything get in their way for writing new stories for the series.

I've read on Wikipedia that in addition to the Ghostbusters game that they are going to make a CGI movie. That movie is going to have a different story than the game and they say it's going to revolve around the Ghostbusters fighting ghosts that where rejected from hell because it's too full. Then it also involves a man in high power who is Lucifer in disguise. I don't know how true all that is but it does sound interesting. I'm excited for anything new Ghostbusters.

Speaking of stuff that is interesting I was watching Tin Man on the Sci-Fi channel tonight. It's got the flavor of a Sci-Fi remake that's for sure with desaturated colors and a more serious tone, etc. (sort of like giving it the BSG treatment). I still have to watch the rest to give a full judgement but at this point I think it's interesting but it can't replace any of the old movies\stories... even Return to Oz. I like different things for different reasons. Although the old movie is pretty dated and I like seeing a more realistic\darker\closer to the book version of the story. But I wouldn't mind seeing one that sticks closer to the story and is still modern. Like it wouldn't be all cutesy and have singing but it wouldn't be like Tin Man. I find it interesting that there are more than one book in the Oz series but they haven't really been translated except for two of the books. Anyway watching Tin Man reminds me of how stories get changed and more exaggerated as time goes by as it gets retold over and over. In this story however the idea is reversed. For example ( Spoilers inside.... ) It's kind of like they are saying, "This is the true story that spawned the legend".

A thing I hate though is how on my cable I can't get surround sound on the Sci-Fi channel. It kind of spoils it for me a bit watching anything on there because of that.

I don't think I'm going to ugprade to Leopard on day one. I hope Unsanity has some announcements on or soon after Leopard gets released as to the status of APE and Shapeshifter, etc. on Leopard. I heard that inputmanager based hacks like saft wont work in Leopard but I wonder if that would affect APE and other mach_inject stuff as well. Well, either way I don't want to be without theming. Although last I heard Unsanity left smiling from a Lepoard presentation last I heard anything from them.

I'm also going to have to get new icons that have 512x512 size (especially for coverflow in the finder).

Speaking of Apple stuff on this page it shows you how to dress like "A Mac". Now I can redo my wardrobe! ;) I do like shoes like his though.

These headphones look interesting to me if they really do sound like surround sound. I was interested in a USB headset because my Mac doesn't have regular line in for a standard headset. Also when\if I have someone move in with me I would use this when I don't want to disturb them.

Today I was at the store and I was tempted to buy a Zen Stone I was also tempted to buy other things but I decided against them all because I feel like I could save up my money for more important things right now.

Have you heard of the recent LJ purging? I guess I haven't talked about anything "illegal" here. =P You know what I didn't like? How some people at digg suggested we are all sexual deviants here. I'm sure there are quite a few people who are but not everyone. =P

I was at the store and I noticed a couple of kids chose to get themselves a copy of Age of Empires III (PC) instead of a PS2 game. The left trigger on my gamepad is not registering anymore.. I need a new gamepad sometime.. I was almost tempted into getting one today. But the store didn't have the updated version of my favorite one so I chose not to. I saw the new 20 inch HP Monitor. At this point I'd rather save my money for something important.

My family gave me the card for a company called Data Doctor. I tried calling them today but the person in charge of hiring wasn't around so I left my name and number for them to call me back.

I was at the store because I needed things like kitty litter and paper towels.

Well here's some random stuff now just to show I'm alive:

They have a commercial for a contraceptive that looks like a ring and looks like it's an engagement ring and they make it look like the guy is proposing to the girl and she goes "Yes, I do" and he smiles.... what the?!

I have received a complaint this morning who said my music was too loud and they are a day sleeper. Therein lies the problem. I'm not awake at that time either. Sometimes I get awakened by day-time noises too sometimes from dreams I'm enjoying. I don't know who is making those noises so should I file a complaint against the whole neighborhood? I almost feel like calling the office back and getting smart with them. That wouldn't fix anything though I don't think. Sometimes I've heard bass that gets into my inner ear. It's not from me though. It's also the first time in years that I have heard any kind of complaint. I don't make complaints against anyone else.
