Today there was a special event announcing new iPod stuff. They have newly redesigned Nanos, and updated iPod Touches. Also the iPod Classic has been updated but pretty much just from a storage perspective.
I'm not sure I like the design of the new Nanos yet. Looks a little too zune-like for comfort in my opinion. I also mourn the design of the previous Nanos they where cute in my opinion. I may get a better feel for them seeing them in person though. The rounded tops look good.
I love the new iPod Touch with its shiny stainless steel backsides and thinner casing. I wonder how much of a scratch magnet they are though. If I had to choose I'd definitely choose the touch over the nano. There is just more use for it with all the applications you can obtain for it and the wifi connectivity. If I had $400 to throw away I'd get me a 32GB one right now.
