That car has screens and trays so you an put a keyboard or a laptop on them so you can use computers in the back seat and one in the trunk. Everyone knows I like computers. Some may say I'm obsessed with them (and cats). But even I am not that addicted. I am for getting away from TV and computers now and then.
OK sure, for long boring trips it may be an easy way to keep the kids quiet. But on the other hand a lot of kids who have all the latest gear, stacks of games\movies etc. tend to be more bored than kids with less things it seems to me. There was this one guy I knew who was that type. He looked like this kid:

He was always bored and he had a Super Nintendo and I didn't. I had a CD player boom box. He was bored of Super Mario World so he traded me his SNES for my boom box. He later broke the boom box and wanted to trade back. I said no!
If you must have entertainment for the kids in the car why not get them Nintendo DS or PSP? Although there is one draw back to that. Again the kids don't unplug and so they can end up staring at a screen most of the time. At home they play video games, then in the car they switch to portable players. These kind of kids tend to act like they may have ADD and need constant stimulation or they are bored. They constantly have shiny new toy syndrome and can't stand anything that they percieve as "old".
Personally I don't think I want a car with something like this built into it. The only thing I really need that is fancy like that is iPod\MP3 player integration. Maybe if I lived out of my car I would then want it especially if I was homeless I literally lived in my car. Or maybe if you where carpooling and wanted to avoid having conversations. But otherwise it's totally unnecessary.
One may think because of how much I like technology that I would be all for this but I'm actually not... having an iPod Touch for when I'm on the go would be more than enough for me.
Besides, I agree with a commentor that VW is a better match for Apple. ;)
In the end I say this car has too much superfluous pimping going on. Time to unpimp the auto!
