WIndowblinds 5 is looking good. That skin looks like a combination of brushed metal and aero glass and it's called "Aura". I really like how with 32-bit support in the skins like how WB5 has you can have independently transparent elements. They say WB5 is going into beta soon and I would like to try it out even if just on my old PC.

This week the two games I have been having the most fun with are Shrek 2 and Tron 2.0. I have the Mac versions of both games installed on my Mac Mini and they both run great at full detail at 1024x768.

Tron 2.0 is interesting. One reason why it is interesting is that in some ways it looks better or equal to the original 80's movie. It is fun for me after having watched that movie for a hundred times to play through a new story that takes place in it's universe and I can explore and play with the light cycles and things like that.

Shrek 2 is pretty fun but it can get a bit annoying when they are saying the same things over and over.

I just grabbed this desktop tonight and I think it looks pretty good with the theme I'm using and the icon on my downloads folder. That is the dart from Kill Bill that O-ren Ishi threw.

The theme is Dragon 1.0 by Susumu Yoshida. The font I'm using as system font in place of Lucida Grande is Avalon which is the font that comes with the Enlightenment theme "C2H8".

Looks like Apple is quietly upgrading the "high end" mac mini to 1.5Ghz and upgrading the video ram to 64mb which is how much I thought it should have had since the beginning. The only thing is that the video card is still a ATI Radeon 9200 which isn't able to take advantage of all of Tiger's features but upgrading the ram is still a step in the right direction. It is possible too that they are putting in faster hard drives. If they do another upgrade between now and the Intel Mac's come out it should be to upgrade the video card to at least a ATI Radeon 9550 like they did in their ibooks.

The only way I'd get the current upgrade is if either they let me trade mine in or if my parents would take the one I have and buy me the new one. I know I could use the memory upgrade on the video card. My parents would be just fine with this one.
