As I write this I'm 1% away from being punished by my ISP for breaking their Fair Access Policy. With a 17GB 30 day rolling cap it's only a matter of time for someone like me. It took me two months to hit that cap but I am hitting it tonight. Now I get to look forward to dial-up speeds until my bandwidth gets rolled off to 80%. Yet we of course auto-paid Wild Blue $86 just a couple of days ago for the monthly subscription. I may be cut off from everything except for basic web surfing when I'm punished as well. I kind of wish I was able to do more research before I jumped into this ISP but I wasn't given enough warning in advance that they where going to show up to move me back home and I was without internet for a month. Yes Wild Blue has less expensive packages but they have lower bandwidth caps (8GB for the lowest price package) and slower speeds. My family did say we where going to switch to the other Wireless ISP I want to switch to still. But I just don't know if they are telling me the truth. Somehow I don't see them walking up to me and saying, "Let's order the new wireless internet equipment today!" anytime soon.
