I saw a TV show recently about the story of the internet called "Download: The True Story of the internet" on the Science Channel. They said one of the first meetings that google had was at a sushi resteraunt and they showed them it on their laptop and I thought... this was what... ~9 years ago? How did they get online at the sushi resteraunt did they have ethernet at the table or what? Did Sushi restaurants in California all have internet connections for their customers in the late 90's?
