Tetsuo Time

The Mac Mini dying seems to have become an internet meme this past year or two. This time it happened because certain stores in the UK have been told to stop ordering them and not to expect more of the current models. This of course has fueled speculation that either the Mac Mini is in imminent danger of being axed or refreshed.

Just like how they made a movie about star trek fans called "trekkies" they are now (possibly) making a movie called "MacHeads". I say possibly because I'm not 100% sure it's a real thing:

I can't say I'm as fanatical about the Mac as some Mac users out there. For some of those people it is practically a religion. I also like Star Trek but I'm not nearly as fanatical about that as the people in the "trekkies" movie although when I was a young teen I was almost there. I can't say I have been that fanatical about anything the closest I have come is buying a couple of merchendise and maybe a t-shirt. I've never been to a convention for anything I'm interested in. Although that was mostly because I never had an opportunity. I'm also borderline when it comes to Doctor Who.. but that's what I've mostly been with most things I'm interested in. I become a fan but not a crazy uber fan.

If you own a mac and you want a nice, fast, neat looking cart style racing game check out this game. It's called jammin' racer it has some good looking characters, interesting cars which you can change the skin and other things and it runs at a brisk pace even on an old Mac Mini. I suggest it especially if you happen to own a USB gamepad or steering wheel because you can hook that up to your mac and use it with this game including rumble\force feedback it if has it.
