And I think it's funny because it practically is true....

This practically is like how a typical Torchwood episode is. =P

This is also pretty funny although Captain Jack doesn't sing nor had he ever gotten involved with a Cyberman... that was Ianto's thing.

But haven't had a chance to. The episode before last weeks episode of Torcwhood almost turned me off the series completly. It's kind of like while there where some episodes of last season's Doctor Who that where mediocre they didn't make me want to stop watching the series.

The episode in question here is called "Countrycide" and the rest of this post probably won't make much sense to you unless you have seen it.

The ironic thing though is that the part that bothers me is not the cannibalistic aspects but the way the episode ended with certain two characters. I found it almost as horryfying as the cannibal parts and certainly something that stayed with me more. Maybe because that aspect of the story seemed more real to me. Also it does make me wonder what it will mean for those two characters in the future and they didn't show what happened with her and the former boyfriend.

It's like did she leave her BF for him or did she just start sleeping with him behind her BF's back?

I didn't get to see last weeks episode because I fell behind a bit but I am getting it now because I'm still curious about what direction they are taking the show. I just had a thought and perhaps the others in Torchwood didn't have relationships because they are unable to control themselves when the sh..tuff hits the fan.

I recognized the actress who plays Gwen Cooper in Torchwood. She came out in the first season of Doctor Who (with the ninth doctor) in the episode with Charles Dickens in it as a maid.
