The new features makes it look very competitive with Games For Windows Live... and a cool thing is it's what people think Games For Windows Live should be. You don't need to have a game open to be on steam and it works with any game on there... Games For Windows live only supports the two games that have it built in and only when those games are open. Also it doesn't look like you'd have to pay extra to use those features in Steam. Some person suggested that Games For Windows Live still has a chance for success because they have achievements which some people are addicted to. But what good are achievements if only two games on GFWL support them?

They should bring out steam for Mac (I'm guessing it would probably be with Cider) and maybe also Linux.

Has just been released on Steam. I went ahead and bought me a copy since it's only $2.50USD. I mean really.. is anyone so cheap that they can't even pay $2.50 for a game? Anyway an interesting thing is since the game is also for the 360 the PC version has specific support for the 360 controller separate from it's support for regular joysticks. My regular gamepad with dual analog sticks still worked well though.

While I was in Steam I also noticed this game. It seems cute to me.. sort of like Chibi Half-Life\Metal Slug Half-Life.

As some of you may know I had been disenchanted with the iTunes music store because of the restrictions. Not only are you getting a lower quality file for practically the same price as the full CD\DVD if you bought a whole album, a season of a TV program or a movie but you also can only download it once.... but with steam it's different... )
