[Error: unknown template qotd] Yes and no. Except maybe from Catholicism to agnosticism\atheism which is what I feel I'm at right now. I kind of feel like choosing between religions is kind of like choosing between fantasies. Also the more I learn about the origins of catholicism and how it stole... errr.... borrowed so much from "pagan" religions the less I believe in it. I feel like religion was invented so people wont fear death so much and not feel so alone in the universe. But it's also like living in ignorance (not to be confused with stupidity which some people easily confuse that for). If there's one religion I can almost go for is buddhism because I like their philosophy but I don't know if I believe in a buddha anymore than I do any other of these enlightened\son of god figures such as .... Hercules, Jesus, etc.
Having said that I don't begrudge anyone their beliefs. I just can't say I share them. I respect their rights to have them as I would like for them to respect my rights to not have them. I do believe they have some good lessons to teach but they also have their ugly sides which are numerous.
However, I don't believe anyone should be nice to each other and do good deeds simply because they are afraid of being punished by an invisible omnipresent being. Rather goodness comes from within a person. Also I don't think people should feel guilty about feelings that are only natural or worry that something out there is reading their minds waiting to punish them for stray thoughts. It's not healthy to live in guilt and worry for things you haven't even done.
