I'm moving next month and I was wondering if anyone had any tips when it comes to disposing of old CRT monitors. I know they have toxic chemicals inside and are hazardous and most likely illegal to just dump. I was doing a quick search and it seems there is a local place that can recycle them but they cost 25 dollars a monitor. I have two monitors that I need to get rid of. The reason why I replaced them because they where on the blink\non working. I'm curious as to what others in my friends list might have done if\when they got rid of any CRT computer monitors they may have had.
