I was looking at the new screenshots and I have quite a bit to say
This screenshot shows how the Finder now is more iTunes'ish with the sidebar and look.. and some features too. Which they say take advantage of core animation and are faster\better than on Tiger. It also shows any fears that the desktop won't be able to host icons was premature. I'm kind of not happy with the overall look though. I am hoping that Unsanity updates Shapeshifter so I can theme it like they usually do.

This screenshot and this one shows how the normal\toolbar titlebars are now the polished metal style like in the previous build I talked about.

I hope this screenshot that shows the menu for choosing whether a desktop picture is stretched\tiled\etc. means that it'll be available for all the folders on that preference panes sidebar... it doesn't seem to do that for all of them currently in Tiger. I see it here too so hopefully that's the case.

This screenshot is kind of neat because it shows you can easily set certain applications to only open up in certain virtual desktops in Spaces. This shows the preferences for spaces in general. The menu for it is basic but serviceable. I like how it you have multiple monitors they all get used in Spaces.

See the huge shadow on calculator? I am sort of not happy with it. It's too big and I would like it if I could modify it.. although programs like WindowShadeX create a brand new shadow that doesn't adapt to different window shapes as easily as the default system shadow. Like I said at macthemes2.net I don't need a huge shadow to tell if a window is in focus.. having the entire window have two different states for in and out of focus is enough.

This and this show that the sheet style dialog windows now have a guassian blur in their transparency like Vista. Effects like that have been possible in OS X since Tiger with Core Image but they haven't been used there anywhere in the theme. Front Row did have the effect when you are being asked if you want to resume a video that you stopped before it finished playing though.

Screenshots like this show how the menus are now rounded at the corners although I didn't really notice at first. That change is kind of "meh" to me.

The new terminal icon looks kind of neat. =P

I'm not sure what to say about the new dock icon labels.. I guess they look OK. I gotta say the fan effect of the new stacks feature smacked me of ObjectDock.

They say that the new borders they put on thumbnails are supposed to make them easier to distinguish but I don't think they do any more than having a dark drop shadow.
