Enemy Territory Quake Wars

In a previous entry I mentioned that Enemy Territory Quake Wars is coming to the Mac. Well I want to make a more full entry about that game because it has kind of grown on me. Hell.... it's Quake after all!

I don't generally go for war sim type first person shooters but this seems like I may like it for some reason.

Looks kind of like RTS and FPS put together. And like I said elsewhere an interesting part is that they made new technology for the maps so the terrain of the whole map is one ginormous texture yet it only takes 8MB of video ram.

I think I might choose the Strogg side though when I play they seem a bit more interesting to me than the GDF side (global defense force).
