More Multiprey.....

I hosted a game or two tonight and I got some people connecting to me who where getting pretty good ping finally. There was this one person I know must have gotten a good connection because before he\she left they had caught up and suprassed my score but they abrubtly had to go after a while. The final score was 6 for them and 5 for me. I wish I knew exactly who that was so we can have a rematch sometime. We also had a chat at the same time about the things we like about the game which was pretty distracting but I'm not going to blame that for them suprassing my score. I tip my hat to them for beating me fair and square.

Firewire and DVR...

I just found out today that if you have a cable box and computer that has firewire. You can hook them up and use your computer as a DVR without having to have a TV tuner card! I found this particular DVR program for the Mac called "iRecord" which makes me wish I had a firewire cable to hook up my cable box to my Mac to try it out. I would like to do that and then burn the TV shows I record to DVD.

On second thought.. I need one of....

these it's an adaptor that lets you use your regular phones with VoIP like Skype. I already have a pair of good cordless phones and a headset and a Skypeout subscription all I need is this and my family can put my regular phone service to be local only and I can use Skype and this for long distance calls.
