Steampunk Laptop
Oct. 13th, 2006 09:36 pmI saw this over at engadget... *edit* I fixed the links hopefully....
Steampunk Laptop
I've always found steampunk to be interesting and someone actually made a functioning laptop that is steampunk. Engadget described it as looking like it came out of the movie, "Pi". Although others have pointed out that it looks more like it came out of the movie "Brazil" or "Naked Lunch" and also said "Max Headroom" also featured computers that looked like typewriters and i would also add the 1984 movie that had John Hurt.
Here is a steampunk desktop.
They also have other cool things such as this robot
This stuff belongs in a Sci-Fi movie!
The computer stuff kind of makes me think of my old friend, Darkalloy. He modded his computer in an interesting way as well.
Although I myself would be happy to even just have a desk that has good cable management.
