One of my pet peeves...
Mar. 9th, 2006 11:14 pmWhen people mix up loose and lose. Loose is for when something is not tight. Lose is for when well, you lose something. Someone who loses a lot is a loser, when something is more loose than something else it's looser. If person heard how it sounds if you would reverse it it would sound silly. This is even worse than mixing up then and than in my opinion.
I know some people might hate to have someone tell them that saying who are you the english teacher? It's true though, but when I see people do it I don't tell them anything because like I said no one likes to be corrected so instead of telling them I'm talking about it here. Yeah I know I probably talked about this before but hell, I'll talk about it again! =p
Of course also there is the fact that you can't control anyone but yourself so I pretty much that's what I do.
