[Error: unknown template qotd] I once almost won first place in a drawing contest at my favorite comic book store when I used to live in town. However presentation issues prevented me from getting first place. It was because they pasted the entries onto the inside of the front store window and I had framed mine and put plastic wrap in the front. I also used colored pencil which isn't as vivid as what the others used. So those things combined and I got third place. I still won a bunch of comics from it though so it wasn't a complete loss.
