I am calling it James Cameron's Avatar as to avoid confusion with Avatar The Last Airbender... I have always been interested in this because as far as I know he hasn't done a Sci-Fi epic since perhaps Terminator 2. So far the movie is looking good to me I watched the HD trailer on my families HDTV but this picture has sold me on it:
Not only is this movie the first Sci-Fi movie he's made in a while but it has Sigourney Weaver in it..... someone who was in his best Sci-Fi movie of all time apart from Terminator. This time she's an alien (but not the same kind of alien as in Aliens of course). I love the way they translated her facial features to the alien. I've been a fan of her all my life.
That's it.. I'm sold... the only thing that would make it better is if it had the lady who played vasquez and bill paxton (game over man!). But they will most likely be in it as something. Ahhhnuld I know is out of the question but they do have the guy from Terminator Salvation in it (the best guy some people argue) and no I don't mean Christian Bale. I mean Sam Worthington. Who to me actually seems a bit like an Ewan McGregor Lite. But that may just be me. Apparently he plays the man who has one of the aliens as his "avatar" and he is to infiltrate their society. I'm just guessing here I pretty much know what the general plot is about but I don't want to talk more about it than I already have.
