The other day I put a shot of Killer Instinct on both arcade and home and today where is a shot of MKII.

The left side has the arcade version and the right is Super Nintendo. I even cropped the SNES version to even things out more as it's framed wrong causing the fighters to become smaller on the screen than they supposed to be. After cropping I noticed though they are still a bit smaller. But even so there simply is more detail in general in the arcade not to mention the sound is a lot better and there are more frames of animation. When you look closely at both screenshots you can see lots of details missing on the SNES version that are in the arcade in every square inch of the pic. But back when it came out that was my only choice for playing the game at home... so while I was disappointed I still played it anyway. In that shot it's closer to the arcade than the KI port was but still no cigar.

I just read that they are making crossover for Mac (a version of WINE) to run windows programs on the Mac (intel one most likely) and they say Half Life 2 and Prey work well on it. I would prefer it to having to constantly reboot into windows just to play a game.

They have said that intel is coming out with a new graphics chip which is signifigantly enhanced over their previous one and includes the latest shaders, hardware T&L support and other things and run at 667Mhz which sounds a lot better than the previous one on paper but I'm still skeptical until I see some benchmarks showing how fast it runs with games particularly Doom 3, Prey and Quake 4. If it runs those 3 games decently I wouldn't mind seeing it in a new Mac Mini.

I'm feeling really nervous tonight because I haven't completed the certification tests for new horizons and my family is talking about me moving back with them which I would hate to have to do. They mentioned the idea to go to Highlands University in Las Vegas New Mexico and I think that would be ok if I can make it (I generally do poor in college\university). I would hope though wherever I end up to be able to live in a seperate building from them. My dad mentioned that his old best friend has a house in Las Vegas (NM) that he might be able to sell to me that I can live at while going to Highlands and that would be ok with me especially if I can get cable internet\tv there. But we'll just have to see and that just leaves me very nervous... I mean really nervous... I can't concentrate on things right now.
