Top Metal Songs

I don't know if anyone knows this but at one time I used to be a big heavy metal fan........ mostly when I was in junior high. I am watching Top 40 heavy metal songs on VH1 Classic and I'd be suprised/dissapointed if anything by megadeth didn't make it. Especially songs like Hangar 18, Symphony of Destruction and Angry again. Of course though there where plenty of other good songs (that I can't remember) that they did mention that would make a good compilation album for people who like metal. I think I remember the scorpions - rock me like a hurricane which is a great song. Anthrax - bring the noise was an intersting song with its mix of hip hop and metal. There is of course plenty of other songs that I am not mentioning and I in no way am putting this as a compendium or list or anything.

Right now I have been listening ot mostly other kinds of music but there are some metal songs that are just so damn good that I wouldn't mind listening to them every so often. A lot of the songs I used to like I don't have anymore though so I would need to get them again.

It seems this month is classic rock month on VH1 and metal is a part of the scene... even if some people might not want to admit it.

They just put Megadeth - peace sells as number 11 so I can now rest assured they are in the top, lol. I guess peace sells pretty much is typical of their style so it represents their other music.

BTW it's everything that is NOT hair bands in the list and I'm glad.

Guns 'n' Roses - welcome to the jungle is #2 and Black Sabbath (Go Ozzy!) - Iron Man is number one BTW.
