It's a good thing...
Nov. 26th, 2005 11:59 pmThat I have my kitchen and bathroom clean because tomorrow is going to be my thanksgiving with my family coming over. I might do some more though by the time they get here tomorrow.
I just am a little unsure about how it will be if my sister comes along though. If she is nice on her visit that might be OK. However things can get complicated and that's not fun. Not to mention the fact that I'm not even sure what her opinion is of me. Maybe not having seen me for a while will make her feel like being nice.
Monday I am going to start a class on Managing a Windows server.
The newest build of Windows Vista looks interesting.
This shot shows the redesigned start menu. I'm not sure about the user pic sticking up at the top there but other than that it looks pretty good to me. The start button is interesting because it's slightly oversized and sticks up some from the taskbar.

This second shot shows the redesigned Windows Media Player. I like how the player controls look there at the bottom of the window but the menubar doesn't look right as it looks right there. There's a messed up black line under it that kind of ruins it for me.

P.S. You know what is one thing I like a lot about Mac OS X? Its fonts are so smoothly rendered it's great when you have the options set to options that are good for the particular monitor you are using.
