How to pronounce Linux
Sep. 24th, 2005 10:12 amI have always pronounced Linux like described in this article which turns out to be the correct way to say it.
It's interesting to me because the name Linus isn't pronounced like Lie-nus or Ly-nus either. But rather Li-nus or Lin-us. Linus Torvalds is from Holland.
They have a sound byte there where you can hear Linus pronounce his own name and Linux.
