I got a call today from manpower saying they want me to go pick up my schedule for the training by friday. So I guess there was an opening for me. I tried to call my family to tell them that but I guess they aren't there.
I was playing Unreal Tournament 2004 today. It took a bit of tweaking but i got it performing well on my Mac Mini (it only has 32MB of video ram). The last matches I was in where really tough. It was 5 on 5 and my team always started off winning but the other team managed to catch up and surpass us winning with 50 to our 40 something points.
I've upgraded my Mac Mini to Mac OS X 10.4 Tiger the other night. Spotlight is pretty cool and dashboard is interesting. The only bad part is because my video card is under a Radeon 9600 it doesn't support core image so I don't get things like the ripple effect in dashboard. But it still works well I get a lot of the other effects.
Here is the first shot I'm putting in my LJ under Tiger. I'm using Nickel Cobalt theme there and puft icons.
