Tetsuo Time

Lately I have been noticing that certain services that have usage caps on them are starting to offer faster speeds. I kind of question the use of offering higher speeds when you can only download so much a month or in some cases like hughesnet a day.

Last night i noticed that mail.app kept on saying that the mail server I use was rejecting my password. Comcast tells you you to put mail.comcast.net as your pop server. But it just kept on rejecting my password over and over. But i wen't to web mail and my password is correct. So I just left it thinking maybe their server is down or something. But it still kept on doing it today and i was ready to blame mail.app. But I tried changing my server to pop.comcast.net and lo and behold that worked. But on their instructions they do still say to put mail.comcast.net

Just though I'd pass that along for anyone else who might be on comcast and is having the same problem.
