I'm writing this because Superman is one of those characters I grew up with (there are pictures of me as a child wearing superman shirts in the house). There is a whole article when it comes to him and that is whether he can conceive a child with Lois Lane safely or not.

Alert! Here's where I geek out for a while! )

[Error: unknown template qotd]We don't have beaches here except for the water park named "The Beach". So I would go with the air-conditioned movie theater out of sheer convenience (that and I don't like being seen in public in swimming gear).

The ocean is nice and everything and it would be nice vacationing someplace where you can swim in it. But we aren't meant to be in the ocean and there are many dangers awaiting us in there. Some places don't even adequately protect us from them. Ask anyone who stepped on a jellyfish on the beach or have suffered a test bite from a shark mistaking the person for a seal. Plus people are polluting the beaches in some if you play in the sand you may dig up hypodermic needles or other "pleasant" things.

Don't get me wrong I love the coastlines and beaches are nice. Many people go to them every day with no incident and the ocean is a wondrous place. Living near the ocean is also nice because it's almost like living near a giant swamp cooler and you get more moisture which is good for the skin.

But yeah give me the air-conditioned movie theater.... with a movie featuring the ocean movie playing perhaps (there are several good movies that take place in the ocean or on the beach).

I'm particularly amused by what they are now previewing at the Doctor Who web site at bbc.co.uk. Apparently they are also making a collection of animated shorts which add up to one animated episode of Doctor Who. I already like the 3D model of The 10th Doctor and his hair. It's also pretty cool because in that episode he goes to Roswell, NM. I know in the 9th Doctor's adventures (the episode titled Dalek) he went to Area 51 and the tenth doctor went to New York to encounter the Daleks again. but this is closer than either to me.

I know this may be wishful thinking but I hope that they have a mind to see if this is successful and if it is *crosses fingers* then they would make a whole season or two of 10th Doctor adventures (with David Tennent's voice) perhaps even after the 11th Doctor has taken over in the live action version. That would make me happy. Perhaps these episodes could be ones that took place in between the live action 10th doctor episodes... side adventures in other words.

While they are at it they can do that with any Doctor who's actor is still alive and able\willing to do voice work. I think that would be nice to see. Even if they did just one episode per past Doctor.
