New iMacs!

This just in... Apple has updated the iMacs... the high end 24 inch model has a 3Ghz Processor and a 512MB GeForce 8800! I now know what I want as my next computer! This is much better than the last update. I would like to get my hands on one and try out a bunch of stuff on it including games. Actually the 3GHz and the 8800 are both build to order options so you could get the 2.8Ghz and an 8800 if you wanted. Of course there are people still not happy with this upgrade but I think it's a nice step up from the previous generation. I asked for an 8800.. they gave me one. The only thing that is missing here is a Quad Core option... and perhaps a Blu-ray drive. Perhaps next refresh?

So I think I may take a:

• 24 Inch: 2.8Ghz
  
• GeForce 8800GS 512MB (BTO)
  
• at least 500GB hard drive (BTO)
  
• wireless mouse and keyboard
  

$2,049

If I would have suggested the card they ended up going with as the high end option at the forums people would have told me I was crazy and that they'll never do it.

No I'm not buying one.. I can't.. I wish I could.
