I'm actually posting this LJ entry from Adium using their new livejournal support, it's very basic though and I don't know how to put a mood or show what song I'm listening to or anything but it's still interesting to me to be able to post from a messenger. It actually looks like LJ might be running a Jabber server and the thing I used to post this was a bot that does LJ posts. When I added the LJ service to my Adium I got everyone in my friends list loaded into my contact list but offline because it looks like probably not a lot of others I know have LJ setup in a messenger like that.
