It's been quite some time since I last updated hasn't it? Where do I start.. well. These are the things I've been into lately.

Toy Break\October Toys… I discovered these people a couple of months ago because I was looking at some M.U.S.C.L.E. sites and heard that they are releasing a new set of figures inspired by it and other 80's mini figures lines and they are calling it OMFG… as in Outlandish Mini Figure Guys.

I ended up ordering me a set of yellow ones from University of MUSCLE. Which I actually at first thought was going to be flesh\peach colored like the original MUSCLES since they had a pic of that color in their store.. but then I found out October Toys where the ones selling the Flesh\Peach colored so I ended up ordering.

I signed up to their forum and have been talking a bit here and there about the stuff I collect.

WEB SITE STUFFI started a web site to go with me resurrecting my palace server and I have it here. I have a room tour there where I show what I've been doing with my room and such. However the pics are pretty crappy as they where takein with a cell phone.. however I'm getting a new camera and are going to replace them soon.

Room Stuff
I got tired of having all my collectibles on my two central book shelves. So I got a bunch of wall ledges that look like the ikea lack shelves. Except these come from Target. I hung a bunch of those and now I have places that are just right to put figures and things like that. I still need to get some more though especially since I'm slowly growing my collection.

I got my first Revoltech Anime figure although it feels a little too fragile\flimsy for my tastes although it is very cute. Because of Toy Break I discovered Smurf Tynies and I thought they where very nice so I ordered some.. they are mini glass figurines of Smurfs like about 1 inch or maybe a little smaller.

That should be it for now… sometimes I think of stuff that I think I should write about but then I never get around to do it. Well.. I'm back at it again.

Some of this is recycled from my Twitter but since I don't have loudtwitter setup anymore it's OK. Especially since I want to talk a bit more about these than fits into a twitter message.

Cool Looking "TV Wall" - I was looking at some of the interior design blogs I look at daily such as Apartment Therapy and its sister site unplggd and I came across this photoset. I really dig this persons style most of the stuff she has is retro in some kind of way. She also has a Mac Mini hooked up to her TV.

I used to have a "Visible Man" when I was younger and I used to keep it at the top of my shelf but one day I decided to take it down and dismantle it and I then lost all the pieces and subsequently the rest of it. It's too bad too because I would put it with my other decoration like she has.

This screensaver (for Mac or PC) is interesting\funny to me. It's like when they show spy holes in paintings in movies. It also reminds me of how my family used to have an old photo of (I think) my late grandma in their bedroom. It was the kind that was B&W but colorized... The eyes always used to look like they where following me around the room. It used to freak me out and made me want to hurry in and out of their room whenever I had to go in there.

M.U.S.C.L.E. Usb Thingies (Kinnikuman in Japan) - Are interesting to me. One reason is because I used to collect the small pink mini figures when I was a child. I still have a bunch in a jar on a shelf right now. One thing that is funny about the USB thingies is that topless robot thought they where humping. But it looks like it may be that they are just doing sit-ups. I can see where the confusion comes from though as the USB protusions and poses look kind of wrong.

They may have thought that because there was a USB dog that did that. They also got something else wrong.. they don't have internal flash memory. It's too bad too because both that and the USB dog would be more useful if they did. They could also make it so they only animate when file writing activity is happening. I think one person modified their USB dog to have those features but it would be nice if it came standard.

These clocks They look like funky decorated Mac Mini's on their side. It's just too bad they are $150 each. Lots of great\unique designs though.

Macpadd makes me contemplate replacing my design within reach mousepad for it that I got not too long ago. I mean it's a great looking mousepad but the "wrist rest" isn't always the most comfortable thing and it's actually a bit too hard to be used as a wrist wrest... it's mostly good if you have large hands and you can move the mouse fully just by moving your fingers and can use it as a palm wrest. It's still great and everything but the macpadd would be better in my opinion. I kind of wish I saw it first.

The Sanctuary This looks pretty good to me for holding\charging various gadgets that one may have. Although I'm not sure I'd go for that or for a charging drawer in a desk that hides the gadgets\accessories away. Although I really only have one device that I charge at my desktop my MP3 player. I've been kicking around ideas in my head for a good looking minimalist setup.

Hecklerdesign OneLessDesk I like this computer desk. I like how it has an area in the back to hide your cables\accessories. I'd get mine in black because I like the way aluminum stuff looks on black. The only thing is that if i get it I might want to get a nice looking file cabinet for next to it and I kind of wish they would offer the keyboard table also separate so I would get an extra one to use as a side table. With my current desk I use a wooden TV tray that I painted black to match my desks tabletop.

Full because I just had a sub sammitch.

Anyway.. I realize that I haven't updated my livejournal in a while... nor have I checked my friends list that much lately. I just haven't felt up to it lately... I kind of wanted to update today though and I have a few things which I have realized I probably should make LJ entries of... such as:

Some guy tried to install a satellite dish on his house and was too lazy to drill a hole so he shot the wall with his gun and the bullet killed his wife on the other side of the wall.... crazy... and stupid.

HP has made a Linux based server sort of like the Windows Home Server but half the price. Hmmm....... I wouldn't get either but it's nice to see there's a choice.

Music downloading tax anyone? Warner Brothers is proposing everyone pay $5 dollars a month extra for the privilege of unlimited music downloads. On the surface that may sound pretty good. But that's just one out of many companies that comprise the record industry. What if they all wanted $5? That might add up and we all would end up paying through the nose for internet connectivity.

Dell has an $880 dollar notebook with Blu-ray on it. Damn, Apple needs to get on the ball and put Blu-ray into the entire range of Macs! They may not want to put the same kind of "Media PC Accelerator" card as in this notebook so they may also want to upgrade the graphics chips in the MacBook and Mini as well. There's one coming down the pike they can use.

I've been out of the loop for many weeks so coming back here are the things I have noticed that are interesting to me and other things I did after not having the internet for a month. In no particular order:
