I found this wallpaper tonight and thought it was funny so I decided to use it... so then I had to take a screenshot of it.

Also here's a couple of updated photos of my computer setup. The figure next to my Mac Mini is Cherry Darling from Grindhouse Presents Planet Terror. I have a Dr. Dakota Block figure waiting for me at the post office to go with her. My only complaint is my Cherry figure seems to not be able to stand as well if I put her machine gun leg on. Rather I have her normal leg on and the machine gun leg laying on the floor in front of her. =P

I did something special with my desk tonight. So I felt like snapping a picture of it especially since I don't have access to the camera I used to take the picture very often. Click on the picture to see the flickr page I have it uploaded at. Next I'd like to get this mousepad and a wireless mighty mouse.

A few years back my family was trying to use the computers at the public library and they gave them a hard time. So on the spur of the moment they decided to buy themselves a computer. They went to (I think) Sam's Club and brought home a Compaq S4010CL computer. Recently, the hard drive seems to have died on us.

The way this video looks is probably how it looks to my parents when they see me using my computer. ;) I also like the song that is in it. It's "the bird and the bee - do it again"...

I haven't done one of these in a while so here it is:

Theme is Kuro, latest update released recently by DSKY. Most of them have been updated for the latest iTunes and Quicktime. Wallpaper is "Luxury Apple" by Stratification.

TV show is TORCHWOOD, the season seems to be good so far. Movie poster is from a movie I posted about a while back.

Why someone would want to use all their applications full screen? I like being able to have different applications open in their own windows. I would hate to be forced to have to use all applications especially instant messengers full screen. I don't like how some people are thinking that full screen for all applications is the future. For some applications like media center type apps or games full screen is an ok thing but other applications it's best to be in windows especially to multitask. To be honest this would be going backwards not making progress. In the past when we didn't have systems like Windows or Mac OS we had to launch programs from the command line and we could only use one program at a time full screen and people actually think this is the future?

I'm happy with how I can be typing this in my LJ client and easily switch to an e-mail or an instant message.

If you want to devote a whole screen to a task then you should use virtual desktops or there is an application for OS X that you can use to set any app to be full screen if you really want that. But dont' force it upon me by having it become the only behavior for all applications in a future OS.

I'm sorry it just sort of struck a nerve with me a bit.

My question to my readers is.. would you like it if all your applications where full screen?
